We're organizing a Perl track in the first. Don't know about the
second, maybe the Barcelona PM are setting up something.

There's the Software Freedom Day in September, but I don't know
whether there will be something organized this year; the mailing list
is quiet for the time being.

It was organized by David Santos Orcero (irbis), AFAIR, and he's on to
other stuff now. Met him in the last OSWC conference, and told me as
much. However, he might want to keep it alive for some reason, maybe
you should contact him.
