Subject: [LA.pm] PerlMongers Booth at SCaLE 16x

So here we are, three weeks into 2018. If one of your New Year's
Resolutions was to make sure PerlMongers continued to be represented at the
annual Southern California Linux Expo, this is your chance!

I'll be stepping down as organizer of the PerlMongers booth this year, but
I'm happy to help someone else pick up the torch. All that's required is
scheduling everyone to spend time as the public face of Perlmongers, and
setting up and tearing down the booth. We've sometimes printed t-shirts in
the past, and provided literature, but the choice of whether to do all of
that (or more!) will be entirely up to the new organizer.

Last call, though. As I mentioned in my previous email, I have a very nice
banner I can donate, and I'll be happy to advise the new organizer, but if
you don't step forward, it may not happen.

 Here?s to hoping someone steps up!  Hello mongers!  Grab the power!

Also, if any of you want to volunteer to work at the booth, please respond
to the group!  This will encourage someone (hi will!! Hi Tommy!!) to
volunteer for tribute.

I could due a shift of booth work.  Just need to plan around my
presentation schedule.
