Hello, fellow netizens!


My name is Duane. I like Perl. I do not live in Los Angeles, but I do live close enough that I thought I could maybe join the LA mongers. I have been interested in Perl for many, many years but it hasn't been until lately that I've been working my way up from being an outsider to a full-on community member. I have been called a channel regular on freenode #perl (my nickname is popl), and have been a channel operator there for a little over a month.
