If we can , Nate Jones will present his "Managing your dotfiles with
perl and git to
end all presentations about managing your dotfiles with perl and git" preso,
and I assume there would be room for another speaker or two.

So if you are interested let me know what Wednesday we can do and I'lll
,make sure the room and BEvERages are good to go.

Thanks for the lovely offer! Sorry I haven't been very communicative of
late, busy summer.

My new parent company, Demand Media, is very excited about hosting here in
santa monica. (1299 ocean).  I'd like to grab some momentum before they
change their minds ;)

The tl;dr version is park on the street ( Hayden at National).

Take the La Cienga Blvd. exit and enjoy the ride through the
La Cienga pass. Take a left on W. Jefferson and right on
National.

by a quick left on to Venice Blvd east.  Take
a right on National and then a right on

Parking:

Hi Jordan,

For members who have attended the event at mt, I agree.  Let's look at a
different scope.  That of the first time attendee.

mt is such a Hard place to find.  The lobby is hard to find.  The
meeting room is hard to find.  Right?

You recall your first time there?  Did you walk right in?  Or have to
ask?  Or did you follow someone?

If a first time attendee is early or late, then the potential for not
finding the room is quite high for mt.

To get new members to the mt facility, and let them know before they
leave the office to drive there, they have detailed instructions...

Well, your first time attendee rate will go Up. 

That's a good thing.  

Putting detailed driving directions at the bottom of the announcement is
a solid way to attract new members.  

The needed information is right there, not forcing them to spend their
valuable time going to find a map.  

Now, no one is paid for running Perl Mongers.  So, even though it's run
by professionals, it's has no entry fee.

Professionally run groups recognize the value of attendee's time and
make as easy as possible to attend.

Thus, having driving, parking, lobby and room step by step directions
gives the Open Source Mongers a professional polish.

One man's opinion, and he's sticking too it.

For those of you who were at my talk in May (or for those of you that
weren't, for that matter), you may be interested to know that Schwern
and I have finally got everything officially released to CPAN.
There's a new version of Method::Signatures(*) and the first version
of Method::Signatures::Modifiers(**), which can be used to replace
MooseX::Method::Signatures inside MooseX::Declare(***).  It officially
went out on Friday, and on Saturday we got our first reported
bug.(****) :-/  I'll be working on fixing that, so if any of you guys
want to find any _more_ bugs for me to fix while I'm in there, please
go for it!  I'd love to see this code getting a workout.
