POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the support of application services running on UNIX and
Windows servers in an environment requiring 24 X 7 uptime. Design and
implement tools to improve and scale the overall infrastructure. Perform
installation of third party application upgrades and resolution of
software related problems. Maintains data files and monitors system
configuration to ensure data integrity. Demonstrate leadership qualities
and decision-making ability in the support of Internet Banking
Operations. Represent the Systems Administration team in customer
planning sessions and project meetings. Promote and demonstrate an
attitude of teamwork and cooperation. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Application Support & troubleshooting complex issues. Exercise
independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for
obtaining results.
* Third-party application installation and support. Provides
application-related assistance to other departments as needed.
Assignments are of a highly complex nature requiring technical knowledge
and experience to develop and implement unique solutions. Develops and
implements application standards. Automates routine tasks as
appropriate.
* Work with developers to design a quality solution and optimize system
resource utilization.

Along with your outstanding drive for accomplishment, the successful
incumbent will bring with them:
* Minimum of 5 years experience in Systems Administration in a
production environment with 7x24 uptime requirements
* Java/J2EE experience required. JBoss experience highly desired.
* ASP model plus significant experience on large-scale, distributed web
architectures utilizing ASP and or CGI technologies
* Apache TomCat, JBoss, DNS, configuration deployment of Apache 
* Scripting in one or more of the following: PERL, PHP or Python 
* SQL or other database knowledge
* Expertise with current Internet Technologies and protocols (TCP/IP,
XML, HTTP, DHTML etc.). 
* UNIX operating systems (Linux, AIX)
