This explains why you didn't respond to my emailing you at
ticketmaster to offer Rent.com's space for a technical presentation in
Santa Monica.  So if any guest speaker would prefer to present in
Santa Monica, the option is on the table.

I should note that, based on the previous turnout at a Santa Monica
social meeting, there are a lot of people around who would like to go
to Perl events who find it hard to get to Hollywood at rush hour.
