Robert,
How many people are coming? Head count!
How hard is it to get to Taix. It's 5 minutes from The Original Tommy's on
Rampart and Beverly.
From Pasadena : 210/134 -> 2 -> Glendale Blvd -> Sunset
From Burbank : 5 -> 2 ...
From LA : 110 -> 101 ...
In 6:30 traffic 25 minutes avg... from Tujunga via Burbank route. The wife
says 35. :)
Then again we could all meet at Tommy's... (Some one did mention burgers)
Does he like Chili Burgers... Outside...

I'm happy to pre-announce the next LA.pm event:
A Social Dinner with Peter Scott, author of Perl Debugged.

Tuesday, March 4th, 2003
7pm
A Restaurant
East of Van Nuys, West of Pasadena
North of Hollywood, South of La Canada/Flintridge
I know one or two of you can't make this day, but it was the best
overall from the responses I got. I'm still working on finalizing the
restaurant choice. Greg's suggestion of Taix looks good, but I think
7pm on a weeknight will be a bad time (traffic wise) to get a variety
of people to Silverlake. Maybe save that for a weekend. I can
probably shift the time a little if it would make it easier for a few
people, but 7 seems to be a good compromise between early and late.
Also, Peter has said he's going to bring a copy of his book to raffle
off. Must be present to win. No purchase necessary. See official
rules for details.
Final details in the next few days, after the restaurant is chosen.
