LA.pm: January meeting (and LOTR)

Hi everyone...I'd like to schedule a meeting for January, either the 5th 
or the 12th.  I'm thinking the latter would be better to not interfere 
with anyone's vacations.

Also, we'll need a speaker(s) and a venue, is anyone interested in 
providing one or the other? :)

Lord of the Rings -- is anyone still up for it?
Scott will be out on the 19th (when are you coming back?) -- we can 
always just schedule it after he's back
