I'll be in LA next thursday and friday, and was hoping to meet up with LA.pm, maybe see some of the city, or something like that. We've successfully done this a few times with people visiting phl, so I figured I'd try it the other way. :) -R" ignatz++ :) So what do you all think? Possibly 3rd Street Promenade or something? I remailed him and told him I'll get a decision from you guys by tomorrow (Tuesday) [hopefully] and we'll go from there...it will either occur on Thursday or Friday. If you're going to come, please email me or the list [list@la.pm.org]. On a side note...'lapm.org is not available.' Darn. When I run some installation script on NT, I am getting the error panic: corrupt saved stack index at file1.pl line 97 on some machines. I searched on the web, everywhere it mentioned the meaning of the error message but I couldnt find it how to resolve this problem. Can anybody help me to resolve this issue? I appreciate your help. Here's a rather unhelpful entry from the perldiag: panic: corrupt saved stack index (P) The savestack was requested to restore more localized values than there are in the savestack. (P) - An internal error you should never see (trappable). Since it's trappable, you might be able to get a more verbose description of the problem by using an eval. Wrap the problem line(s) in an eval: eval { someFunction(someArg); }; print STDERR "Debug: $@\n"; Again, I'd be suspicious of faulty memory or other OS corruption/configuration problems. It could also be the result of a badly installed/compiled module.. If you can provide the problem line(s) in question, we might be able to help a little more. It's nice to see that the LAPM is active. I was doing some probing mainly from the LULA, willing to help bootstrap the group if it was no longer :). I have just arrived in LA two weeks ago and slowly getting aclimated. I moved from Gainesville Florida where I started the Gainesville PM and was hoping to find some common minded Perl fanatics when I got here. And here you all are :)... I am now trying to figure out what happened to the Santa Monica PM and maybe get that group started in the near future. Does anyone have any information or ideas about the SMPM?
