Do you want to be paid well for about 80 hrs ( I think it ends up being 80+ ) of work in this summer? Well submit a proposal to work on your favorite community projects within the perl community! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-utZ2cA9r-E http://www.perlfoundation.org/perl5/index.cgi?gsoc_2009_projects It is worthwhile and you produce something which future employers can inspect and verify. abram -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Do you have any arduno projects to talk about or demo? Please add them to the list on the wiki: http://kw.pm.org/wiki/index.cgi?ArduinoHackingShowAndTellApr2009 * Daniel is working on stepper-motor control via motor shield and trying to figure out an undocumented LCD screen. * abez has built a sketcha-mo-phone. * clvrmnky triggers his Nikon with a phototransistor and a teensy circuit. Also, reports to the user via perl. See- there will be perl! And solder and blinkenlights. --- Please add your name to the Pizza List: http://kw.pm.org/wiki/index.cgi?PizzaList --- NOTE CHANGED ROOM: DC 3540. To get there from the ring-road door: Go up two flights of stairs, immediately turn right, and walk to the end of the corridor. DC 3540 is the last door. (On the left, because there is a two-story drop into the atrium to the right). -Daniel From roberthpike at yahoo.com Wed Apr 15 13:11:43 2009 From: roberthpike at yahoo.com (Robert Pike) Date: Wed, 15 Apr 2009 13:11:43 -0700 (PDT) Subject: [kw-pm] ActiveState PerlApp Message-ID: <26229.38040.qm@web58702.mail.re1.yahoo.com> Has anyone had the "privilege" to work with this software package? __________________________________________________________________ Get the name you've always wanted @ymail.com or @rocketmail.com! There will be a healthy number of friends from Make:KW (or #hackw or...) and I'm looking forward to trading ideas around. And an extra-special thanks to our @anonymous pizza donors. And the sketchamophone http://softwareprocess.us/index.cgi/sketcha-mo-phone , the cheap synth on a scrap of paper that you dooddled on. To pronounce the name of either instrument think about how homer simpson would say it (thanks elbie) Thanks to the makers (that sounds so Dune-ish) for attending. abram -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
