KW Perl Mongers is meeting this Thursday, at 7:30pm.

I will be talking about Moose, an object system for perl5 that has
received attention for being stable, reasonably simple to learn, and
reasonably powerful.  It's described as "a postmodern object system" by
the author, after Larry Wall's description of Perl as a postmodern
language- incorporating the best parts of other languages.  Moose includes
useful features of Perl 6, SmallTalk, Ruby, OCaml and so on.
