Today is Perl's 20th Birthday, according to Reliable Sources [1].

Perl 5.10 is also apparently released today [2].

And this Thursday marks our latest Christmas Dinner pub social meeting, at
the Duke of Wellington. [3]  Ask for the Perl party.  Or just go out to
the front room with the big windows (where we were last year).  Spouses
