I'll carpool up to three other people from the K/W area if it falls on any date outside the 10-14th. We're vacationing early to avoid the drunken frenzy. I'm cross-posting this and the original message to the kw.pm list. Does anyone else have any input on this? I'm sure that MJD will be asking me for a firm date soon so that he can plan. This seems like a good weekend to me. If a debate doesn't start up on dates witihn the next 3-4 days then I'll take this as the one we'll use. (Woo-hoo!) The idea is that he'll come up in May (though not the 19-22 weekend as that's the May 24 weekend). Weekends are preferable, but not required. Any suggestions as to what would be the best time? Also, we need to take up a collection to fund the trip. This will be much the same as we've done in the past for Damian, but considerably cheaper. :-) Anyone who would like to make a contribution should please get in touch with me. Free pizza, an interesting talk, a then a couple of beers with fellow geekkind. I think that it's really the best way to spend this Thursday.
