http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/GitPlugin provides git integration; a glue
layer for the trac forum plugin so it can accept mailing list traffic
would be the next thing. Then we'd have our own fork of perl

for whatever that would be worth.  More of a distraction than a help, probably

using python to facilitate perl :)
