The main table size is about 100 fields, I have 40 tables, the
median ISAM file size if ~400MB I have a total of ~12,000 student
records occupying - to one degree or another - ~540 on-line
courses... The complete dataset is ~17GB...
I don't feel that any of this is so special as to cause the system
to "drag" with each query; so I have been trying to get management
to purchase $2-3,000 worth of MySQL/Perl consulting to see if I
have really missed anything or is the b system truly this awful?
:) My money is the Bb system is truly awful...
