yep, Dominus is super-cool; just about anything he
writes is worth reading.  i think this article is
at least somewhat inspired by a talk Nathan Torkington
gave at YAPC 19100 (or 1999, don't remember).

i'm a sucker for any article that quotes Bill James,
anyway.  :)
