Tobey will show you how to hook up high-voltage electrical components
to your parallel port with the ultimate goal of creating a tacky
Perl-powered mess of Christmas cheer resembling this video:

burn up your motherboard with hacked together electronics this
Christmas!

Al will also discuss other inexpensive ways of creating Perl-powered
Christmas lights using X10 home automation (sick of crawling under
your tree or walking outside to plug in the lights?).

And, lastly, we'll have FREE pizza for all attendees who RSVP before
the meeting -- so be sure to let us know if you're interested in

The meeting will start promptly at 11:30am tomorrow (Friday).  We'll
be meeting at Priority Health at 1239 East Beltline NE in Grand Rapids
near the corner of East Beltline and Leonard St.  NOTE THE VENUE
CHANGE -- this is *not* the Priority Health conference center.  We'll
meet in Classroom 1 in Building 1239 (the building right in front of
you as you pull into the driveway).  Mention Perl Mongers to the
receptionist when you arrive.
