FWIW ...

If you're worried about finding the conference center, just show up to the "main" priority health building and ask the receptionist. It's a stone's throw away.

  see you there!

> Hi all...
>
> This Friday at 11:30am the Grand Rapids Perl Mongers will be hosting a
> Perl training workshop! If you've always wanted to learn Perl, or
> just brush up on your Perl skills, then this is the meeting to attend.
> There will be lots of hands-on examples and entertaining demos put
> together by Matt Heusser of Excelon Development. We'll provide
> computers to work on and pizza for lunch. We will have a limited
> number of computers available, so you may want to bring your own
> laptop if you have one.
>
> Because of the large turnout expected, we've ordered extra pizza and
> set up extra seats. We've also changed the location to the NEW
> Priority Health Conference Center at 3111 Leonard St. NE in Grand
> Rapids. The conference center is located near the corner of East
> Beltline and Leonard St. next door to the Red Hot Inn. From I-96 or
> I-196, exit at East Beltline and head north to Leonard. Take a
> "michigan left" and then a quick right into the parking lot. If the
> parking lot is full, you can park in any of the Priority Health
> parking lots and walk south to the conference center. You can find a
> map to the conference center on our web site at
> http://grand-rapids.pm.org/.
>
> There is no charge for this or any Grand Rapids Perl Mongers meetings.
>
> If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us! If you want
> to make sure we have pizza for you, please RSVP to Matt at
> matth at everysoft.com and put "Perl Mongers" in the subject.

Programmers shift from design to coding when the problem is decomposed to a level of "primitives" that the designer has mastered. If the coder is not the same person as the designer, the designer's primitives are unlikely to match the coder's primitives, and trouble will result.
