OK, there will be at least a handfull of us able to meet for lunch
tomorrow. Some thought that Bombay Cuisine sounded good and no one
made other recommendations, so Bombay Cuisine it is! Bombay Cuisine is
in *Easttown* (or is it Eastown?) on Lake Drive, right around 1400 (I
don't know the exact address). It's on the south side of Lake Dr. and
it's just east of where Robinson Road meets Lake Dr. Here's a MapQuest
link to help you find your way:

http://www.mapquest.com/cgi-bin/ia_find?link=btwn/twn-map_results&event=find_select&search=[1400-1443]LAKE+DR+SE,+GRAND+RAPIDS,+MI,+US&uid=u9u406c36ah5o8fe:bwgzrnuwt&lat=429572&lng=-856344&country=US&level=9&style=2&width=440&height=280

If you happen to be coming from the East Beltline, there's a neat
little wormhole: Take Fulton west off the Beltline, go down like 1/8th
of a mile and turn left onto Robinson Road (which runs on an angle).
Robinson Rd. will run into Lake Dr. at a really acute angle, so you've
gotta make a funky left turn onto Lake. Bombay Cuisine is right there
on the south side of Lake.

Oh, also, lot's of people expressed interest in hearing a discussion on
lexicals, package var's, globals, symbol tables, scratchpads, etc, etc.
Paul Tjapkes just introduced me to the "our" keyword in Perl 5.6.
"our" is meant to be the counterpart of "my". It's synonymous with the
"use vars" pragma, but kinda makes more intuitive sense. So, as you
can tell, Paul seems to really be on top of this topic. Perhaps he'll
volunteer for the presentation. (A little ego stroking and peer
pressure wouldn't hurt either. ; ) )

See you tomorrow...

+Joel
