I sent this out last night, but Majordomo rejected it (personal email snafu, long story).) "Bangkok, oriental city, but the city don't know where the city is kept; the creme-de-la-creme of the chess world in a show with everything but Yul Brynner." -- Murray Head, "One Night in Bangkok" Bangkok View is a little Thai restaurant at 1233 28th Street SW in Wyoming. It's basically across from Studio 28 in a little strip mall by Southland Auto Wash. I called Bangkok View and spoke to a nice, oriental-sounding lady. I asked how far in advance I should make reservations for a party of say, 10 to 15 people. At first she said "Two weeks." I exclaimed "Two weeks!?!" (I'd already missed that deadline). So she revised her answer to "One week." I replied, "Really? I should make a reservation one week ahead of time?". She again revised her answer; this time to "Two or three days." At that point, I decided to stop the game and thanked the nice-sounding lady for her help. I'm not sure why she desired for us to make reservations that far in advance (since the restaurant hasn't been packed whenever I've looked), but I will attempt to comply. **To that end, please send me an email no later than next Monday letting me know if you plan to attend.** And, if there's sufficient interest, perhaps we can head over to Zap Zone (just a few doors down on 28th street) after dinner to burn off some kilocalories playing Lazer Tag. See you at Bangkok View @ 6pm on Thursday! +Joel __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Shopping - Thousands of Stores. Key features include a visual editor/debugger that is similar to Windows programming tools like Visual Basic and Delphi. The CGI Wizard component lets both novices and experienced programmers create powerful scripts visually, without writing code. CGI simulation lets you run, debug, and test scripts on the Linux desktop--without the need for a Web server. Output such as personalized HTML and automated email messages can be examined visually, right in the IDE. Version 2.0 is a major upgrade with a greatly improved editor and dozens of new features and refinements geared toward both professional developers and those just getting started with Perl. The Perl Builder IDE includes all the features you expect in a professional development tool, including color syntax highlighting, automatic indentation, a full-featured debugger with mouse-over variable inspection, single step, watches, data structure dump, etc. Perl Builder 2.0 offers full support for creating CGI scripts, as well as interactive system administration scripts, Perl/TK applications, or general purpose Perl programs. A Windows version is also available." Note: This is a 30 day trial; full version retail price is $279.
