Just thought I'd remind local Perl Mongers about this year's YAPC::EU
conference:

Monday 20th – Wednesday 22nd August

Price: €110, or €50 for full-time students.  There's also an
early-bird rate of €80, but you'll have to be quick — that offer
finishes tomorrow.

The call for papers is open for another week, and speakers get free entry.

If you're looking at flying from Edinburgh to Frankfurt, the airlines
with direct flights are Lufthansa (£150–£250 return, depending on
dates) or Ryanair (but that takes you to "Frankfurt Hahn" airport — a
2-hour, €14-one-way bus journey from the city itself).  There don't
seem to be any direct routes from Glasgow.
