I think "Let's get viral" is code for "spam all your friends", but
nonetheless I thought some of you lot might (a) be interested, (b) not
be on the TechMeetup list.

I'm going. There's free* food'n'booze, apparently.

* Freeness of food'n'booze has yet to be confirmed at time of going to
press. Entrance is definitely free, however.

Scottish Open Source Awards - 2009 Logo
The Awards Event is only three weeks away and there are only 50 or so
tickets left. Please forward this email to anyone in your address book that
you think might be interested in attending. It's FREE!!
We want this to be a sell-out so that we can make next year's event bigger
  and better.
If you know someone who should be nominated for an award (there's aA
A-L-500 Student Cash Prize) please do so soon. Judging is next Friday so you
have just over a week to do it. Go to www.opensourceawards.com for
Let's get viral .... send this to as many people as you can think of who
  might be interested.
  Many thanks

They teach that in school. They teach it as something that should be
done, and it used to be true. However, we a living in a wonderful time
and old wisdoms sometimes cease to be true.
