Tomorrow April 7th, is the 2nd Wed of the month.
Anyone else planning on going to the Guildford Arms for around 19:30 ?

We've moved the meeting dates to the 4th Thursday of the month, which
I reckon is the 23rd. (It's now posted on the website,
http://edinburgh.pm.org.)

I won't be available for a meeting tomorrow evening anyhow.

Enough people have expressed interest for this to go ahead, and so
I have booked a lawn for the evening of the 28th.  Expect 6:30 -> dark,
and then Cloisters:-)   I'll send a reminder nearer the time.

However, there is room for more, and I can always book another
lawn (or two!).

So if you're interested, you're welcome BUT please let me know
if you are wanting to come, so that I know if I have enough lawns.

Alas, I'll not be there, on account of partaking in percussion therapy that
evening.

But were I to be there, I would be reminding people that next month,
the fourth, and last, Thursday evening is the 28th, which is the
Perlmongers croquet evening.

And I'd be telling people that they should tell me if they want to take part,
or be consigned to sad elsewhereness...

As it is, I'll have to leave it to Aaron to alert people to the situation...

Tomorrow is the final Thursday of the month, the time when we of the
True Faith gather to celebrate our freedom from the foul strictures of
iCal and its sinister cohorts. Fittingly, it is also Beltane. Hence, we
will hold our Sabbat /slightly earlier than usual/ in order that those
who wish (including me) can get away to the Fire Festival (which starts
at 9.30, doors open at 7.30).

So, to summarise:

There will be a Heretics meet, at the Guildford Arms on West Register
Street, tomorrow night from about 6.30pm onwards (but feel free to show
up later if you'd prefer). Hoods are compulsory. The password is "Good
evening, Miles, would you like a drink?", to which I will reply "Yes,
please".

See you there!

Is there any requirement to dress up, or to dress warmly, for instance?

I should be there as well but I don't have tickets to Beltine
(properly pronounced bel-chin-uh in modern Irish (tine meaning fire:
tar isteach agus suigh s?os cois tine (come in and sit down by the
fire) and is also the name for the entire month of May).

I have never been myself which is a bit odd but there you go.

I feel educated.

I only bought my tickets yesterday, so there should still be some left
if anyone else wants to go. They're ?5.50 in advance, available from
various places (I got mine from the Forest cafe). Or ?7 on the door,
unless they sell out.

Hi. I've never yet been to the various heretical meetings, but some of
you may have seen me on the Edinburgh-PM book reviews web page.

I've got an old Silicon Graphics Indigo computer, from the early 1990's,
going spare. It includes a keyboard and probably mouse. Runs Irix. May
have other accessories, if we can find them, like an AUI network
connector. I don't recall what the monitor connection is.
