Hi all,

I'm looking to move on from my current open-ended role teleworking for a
client in London, so I'm trying to find new opportunities working
in/from Edinburgh.

Of course, if there's any Perly contracting work needed I'd be
interested (plus C#, C++, Ruby, Linux, Apache, etc.), but over and above
a straight "contracting" role, I'd be looking for more enterprising
opportunities, and to get in touch with people of various backgrounds
who might be interested in doing enterprising things.  So, the
obvious thing to do is ask around and see what comes up.

This might not be the right forum for that, but can anyone suggest
somewhere that might be?

And can anyone recommend some recruitment agencies which operate in 
Edinburgh?

Long time no see!  I sorta stopped turning up at the EdLUG meetings a
few years back, when I accidentally moved job to Milton Keynes, then
moved back to Glasgow, and I haven't quite gotten around to
reacquainting myself since.  I'm now living in Musselburgh, and
married so I've no intention of moving away again any time soon!

I really should start popping along to meetings again soon ... are
they still first Thursday of the month at the Tav?

Anyway, the main reason for my post.  I figured some of y'all might
be interested to know that the inaugural meeting of the Scottish Ruby
Users Group is happening this month on Thursday 25th May from 19:00
at The Regent, a pub just along the road from the Tav.  More details
