From http://belfast.pm.org/meetings/ it looks like Mark's talk in Belfast is http://perl.plover.com/yak/hw1/ Anyone interested in having Mark over to Edinburgh to give a talk? I've mailed him asking if he can fit Edinburgh into his schedule - just waiting on a reply. List of Mark's free perl talks at http://perl.plover.com/yak/#free For those who don't know much about Mark you can get some relevant background at http://perl.plover.com/yak/aboutme.html Rory -----Forwarded Message----- From: Marty Pauley To: owner-edinburgh-pm-list@pm.org Subject: Mark Jason Dominus Date: 18 Mar 2003 11:34:19 +0000 Hello Mark Jason Dominus (http://perl.plover.com/yak/) is coming to Belfast next week to provide some training (http://www.kasei.com/training/mjd/). The following week, on 31st March, he will be talking to the Perl Mongers. You can fly to Belfast direct from Edinburgh with Easyjet. It would be nice to meet some of you there. Have fun! -- Marty From rory at employees.org Tue Mar 18 15:02:12 2003 From: rory at employees.org (Rory Macdonald) Date: Thu Aug 5 00:01:05 2004 Subject: [edinburgh-pm] [Fwd: Mark Jason Dominus] In-Reply-To: <1048018495.7250.8013.camel@fiji> References: <1048018495.7250.8013.camel@fiji> Message-ID: <1048021332.6018.8093.camel@fiji> On Tue, 2003-03-18 at 20:14, Rory Macdonald wrote: > Marty from Belfast.pm sent this. Mark can't fit us in this month, but would be happy to come give a free talk in July (think YAPC::Europe) - assuming he can get some training contracts in Europe around that time. Should anyone be considering professional perl training, I know Mark would be happy to come back over (and then we could benefit from a free local talk). I'm not pimping. Really. Rory
