Joe Trippi, the man whose ground-breaking use of Internet-based

has just signed on as keynoter at the Digital Democracy Teach-In. Former
Dean campaign manager Trippi will take Teach-In participants inside the

Folgendes Problem habe ich. Ich habe einen Hash %ARGS, darin stehen als Schlüssel Variablen, die deklariert werden. Nun möchte ich prüfen, welche Variablen deklariert wurden, die in %ARGS stehen.
Zur Veranschaulichung:

In %ARGS stehen folgende Schlüssel:
$ARGS{a}
$ARGS{b}
$ARGS{c}
$ARGS{d}

Definiert wurden sind:
my ($a, $b, $c);

Folgendes habe ich probiert, was jedoch nicht funktionierte:

foreach( keys %ARGS )
{
    delete $ARGS{ $_ } if defined ${$_};
}

Als Ergebnis sollte dann rauskommen, das es nur noch den Schlüssel $ARGS{d} gibt.
Hat jemand die zündende Idee, wie ich dies realisieren kann?

Zum Thema Namensgebung würde ich mich noch einmal einmischen wollen.
PerlWeiß (wie Perl und Wissen) fände ich recht gut. Das entsprechende
Objekt für die Plakate kann ich auch gleich noch beisteuern. Ich habe
mal an einem Wettbewerb für Blender teilgenommen (Blender ist ein 3D
Tools was's für lau gibt). Die Oberfläche an PerlWeiß anzupassen und die
Tube ein wenig anders zu positionieren ist kein Problem. Ebenso die
Größe (denn manche mögen's ja bekanntlicherweise huge)

da es schnell gehen mußte habe ich es jetzt mal auf die umständlichere 
Tour gemacht und einfach die Datenbankabfrage "verdoppelt".

5. Februar 2004 - kalt, aber noch raucherpausenkonform

Und dabei ging es nur um meinen neuen Logovorschlag. :-) Aber der
Reihe nach. Was war geschehen?

Nach unserer Kreativpause im Januar sind wir wieder synchron mit
unserem alten Rhytmus, 1. Donnerstag im Monat. 

Wir wollten diesmal eigentlich Pläne für unser Perl-Propaganda-Treffen
schmieden, uns mit der "Apocalypse 3: Operators" beschäftigen und mit
neuen Logos rumposen. So richtig abgearbeitet haben wir von diesen
Themen nur letzteres, wobei sich hier die Euphorie über meinen
Vorschlag in Grenzen hielt. Die unausgesprochenen Reaktionen habe ich
eingangs notiert. :-)

Wir haben auf unseren Laptops gespielt, WLAN-Karten konfiguriert und
locker über alle möglichen kleinen perligen Details geredet: pack,
unpack, perldoc, automatische Feldtrenner usw.

Jörg hat mit dem Qt-Designer rumgepost. IMHO recht eindrucksvoll und
reif für einen richtigen Vortrag, wo wir etwas konzentrierter
hinhören.

Das Ende war diesmal fließend. Nachdem die ersten wegmußten, haben
Jörg und ich noch über unseren Perl-Propaganda-Tag geredet. Außerdem
soll nun endlich unsere Homepage umziehen. Wir werden das in den
nächsten Tagen/Wochen mal konkret angehen.

Robert, Wasi und später auch ich haben dann noch recht lange
Miniperlkonstrukte probiert und uns über Indent-Styles,
Regex-Konstrukte, Scopes, Arrays und Listen unterhalten. Über die
Scopes könnte ich mal einen Minivortrag machen. Ich glaube, wir waren
gegen 1.oo Uhr raus.

Achja, die Bezahlung haben wir diesmal vergessen. Ich werd' es
überleben, aber vielleicht denkt ihr ja nächstes Mal noch dran und
werft einen letzten Euro mehr in die Runde.

Vom 20. bis 22. Mai 2004 findet der Erste Oesterreichische Perl
Workshop im Freiraum des Museumsquartier Wien statt, veranstaltet von
vienna.pm (Vienna Perl Mongers) und 5uper.net.

Der Workshop bietet Perl-UserInnen jeder Erfahrungsstufe (AnfaengerIn
bis Pumpking):

* die Moeglichkeit zum Lernen, Lehren und Plaudern.
* Kontakt mit oesterreichischen und internationalen Perl EntwicklerInnen.
* Einblicke in Methoden und Praktiken anderer ProgrammierInnen.

    Leo Toetsch haelt ein Parrot-Tutorial, nachher gemeinsames hacken!

Damit wir beim Workshop auch was zu tun haben, brauchen wir
Vortraege. Ein Vortrag sollte zwischen 5 und 60 Minuten lang sein und

kurze Vortraege ueber "nicht-professionelle" Themen sind
interessant & erwuenscht, also bitte keine Scheu..

Hi,

hat sich jemand von Euch schon mit POE, the portable multitasking and
networking framework for perl auseinandergesetzt? Ich würde mich sehr
über einen kleinen Vortrag über das Thema freuen, weil die Dokumentation
erstens sehr umfangreich und zweitens nicht sehr *einsteigerfreundlich*
ist.

Das wäre auch mal ein gutes Thema für einen Workshop.

Ich kenne jemanden, der damit ein Projekt gemacht hat und im
Nachbarzimmer sitzt. Ich versuche mal, ihn zu überreden, was
darüber zu erzählen.

POE wird vielleicht ein Thema beim deutschen Perl Workshop Ende Juni,
mal sehen. Ist noch bissel hin, ich weiß. Vorher kriegen wir aber
