Please find below the details you asked for regarding the programmer I'm looking for. If you think the audience needs more information please let me know and I'll see if I can oblige. We are looking for a Perl Programming Partner who will ideally work with us for the foreseeable future. We are building a Business Management System including Production Control for small businesses. The system is written in Perl and the server side functionality is fully developed, so we are now ready for the database to be completed. There is a very detailed specification written so the Perl programmer we are looking for does not need a working knowledge or experience of manufacturing or business. The system runs on Linux, using Abyss Web Server, so knowledge of these platforms will be helpful. Remuneration will be from future sales of the product and we are looking for a partner who will take a percentage share of revenue generated, so ideally securing long term involvement with writing of upgrades, and provision of support etc in the future. For more information please eMail andy at actitude.co.uk, or call 0870 7419077 or 07989 740160. Hope this is sufficient for now, and thanks again for your help........Andy Sinden ----- End forwarded message ----- From aaron.trevena at gmail.com Mon Mar 20 07:17:02 2006 From: aaron.trevena at gmail.com (Aaron Trevena) Date: Mon, 20 Mar 2006 15:17:02 +0000 Subject: [DCPM] Meeting on Wed 17th May Message-ID: Hi all, Barbie and some of his crew from Brum are planning to come down for the 17th and I'd like to organise a meet (possibly including some talks) on the 17th of May. I was planning to give a talk on either the distributed rules-based scheduler I've developed for a company in Totnes, Matt might do a talk on Lexing if I twist his arm some more, and if Dave Cross can make it he offered to give a talk as well. So, if you want to meet some leading perl developers, and hear about very cool things to do with perl give me a shout and I'll sort out the venue. Cheers, A.
