I'm in favor of something between TDC and downtown Denver too. Would this be a during work or an after work event? Personally, I see this as work related and don't have an issue attending during the work hours.

It seems like there is almost a quorum of participants responding to this topic. I'd be happy to schedule a location and a time for a social gathering to see if there is enough interest to relaunch a more regular event.
Feel free to propose something. Personally I favor downtown denver and regions south for venue selection.

I still use perl as my goto language. But write things in Bash, C, PHP and Python too. Just depends on the application. I find that parsing info is still what I do most so everything else is generally just a bad fit. Long live perl!

Dear Chris,

I?d be curious how many people still on the list are actively using Perl. It could provide a good forum for discussion of issues or things learned, even if there is no regular meeting. I?m currently using Perl for my job down here in Colorado Springs.

Arnold,

Thanks for your note. The group has not been active for some time. I maintain the placeholder out of a sense of duty as much as anything else.
If you have an interest in an event or discusson I'm happy to help coordinate.
