This month, Dylan Cali from Bank of America will be giving a talk on FFI::Raw and his ZeroMQ Perl binding that uses it: ZMQ::FFI. FFI stands for Foreign Function Interface, and it is another way to access native libraries from dynamic languages. FFI::Raw provides an API on to libffi, allowing you to call native library functions with pure Perl code!

The presentation will be on June 26th at 7:00pm. RSVP on the Meetup: http://www.meetup.com/ChicagoPM/events/184240552/

Office Hours will be held June 11th, at 6:30 pm. RSVP on the Meetup: http://www.meetup.com/ChicagoPM/events/dfsncfysjbpb/

This month will be the last month we're in our current office: My team will be moving to the 135 S LaSalle building (which apparently has less security, but much smaller conference rooms). I'll send out more information once we move (June 27th is our last day at 540 W Madison).
