Josh and I want to buy you pizza and beer on friday the 25th, say,
7ish. In return, you get to criticize us, just like Elliot does for
free already (you can have free pizza too, though). Not only that, but
everyone who helps gets their name in the book. It's a lot more than
you get for answering questions on mailing lists. :)

We'll announce the venue later, but it's going to be near an El stop.

We're working on the next edition of Effective Perl Programming, and
we want your input and what we've done so far. We can show you in
person, but we're not releasing this development sources to the
interwebs like I've done with my previous books. We have a different
sort of workflow going on.

If you can't make it but still want to help, we might be able to work
something out. We can give a limited number of people access to the
sources beforehand, so we're limiting this to people who we think will
give us feedback and not put our fledging book on an eastern european
warez site (like all of my other books). You don't get the free pizza
that way though.
