Hi Jordan.  Welcome to Chicago.pm!

I'm not sure how long you've been watching the list, but we are
starting to meet up pretty regularly.  In about nine days we'll be
hosting Yet Another Perl Conference (http://www.yapcchicago.org) on
the IIT campus.  There are a lot of things that need to be done before
the conference, so I'm sure there will be a few informal meetups for
last minute swag-bag stuffings and such.  This would be a great time
for you to jump head-first into the group :)

If you can't make it for any of this, hopefully we can pull a meeting
off sometime in early July.
