It's not a big deal, I'm using Component::Server&&Client::TCP (though I 
can't figure out why I can yield the session, but can't post to it).

It didn't do anything particularly great :) You just built it along the 
way while you were presenting POE to the pm group.  It was easy to see 
how the parts fit together.  At one point you posted (or maybe just sent 
to me) a link to the source.  I think it may have just been a bare bones 
implementation of like: Component::Server::TCP, but built out of wheels 
and sockets, as opposed to using the prebuilt component.
