It is quite close to Asheville, NC where the next YAPC::NA is going to take place. I was looking at their web-site and at the CFP http://posscon.org/call-for-speakers/ but I could not figure out if there is a dead-line and if it has already passed or not. Has anyone attended it earlier? Could you please share your experience? Does anyone want to give it a try and submit a talk proposal? Do you maybe want to setup a perl-mongers booth to promote the groups and YAPC::NA? Again I used the opportunity to look around the neighboring PM groups. On www.pm.org there are no groups listed in South Carolina so I went a bit further: North Carolina Charlotte.pm - surprised me as on their web page I saw a call for a poll I ran more than a year ago. Thanks for promoting it though it is a bit outdated now. Maybe the a new item could be added mentioning the results. - on the mailing list there are sporadic messages. Raleigh.pm - Next meeting was in November 18 (apparently all of us are a bit delayed in updating our web sites :) - The mailing list is mostly Brad sending out invitations to the meetings. Georgia Atlanta.pm - wow, their web site looks nice. Clean and nice. They are also special as their next meeting is actually in the future ! Congratulations :) The mailing list archives are private and joining it requires approval. regards Gabor http://szabgab.com/ -- Request pm.org Technical Support via support at pm.org pm_groups mailing list pm_groups at pm.org http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/pm_groups -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
