Many thanks to everyone who has commented on the list.

In response to some of the comments, yes we have been in touch with Jay 
Friedman in Conferences and Special events. They do all sorts of events 
and they do have solutions for using the networks in NSC. They are also 
helping us out with many other aspects of the planning process.

We are continuing to work on the page in the kwiki site and welcome any 
other input.

Dan, it's good to hear that we'll have some student support. Feel free 
to add an AssociationforComputingMachinery (or whatever you want to 
call it) section to the kwiki and put some links in. If you're not sure 
how to do it, just contact one of us (me or Kevin).

I'll try to keep everyone posted as we move forward.
