Hallo Christian,
das ist ja ein richtig netter und presönlicher Empfang auf dieser ML. :D
("Du" ist natürlich ok, ich habe ja noch ein paar Jahrzehnte bis zur
Rente ;-)
Ich ziehe demnächst von Karlsruhe wieder zurück nach Detmold und habe
gesehen das Sebastian Riedel, mir durch Catalyst bekannt, auch aus der
Ecke kommt. Und da ich ganz begeistert von Catalyst bin und in unserer
Firma etwas damit aufbauen möchte, dachte ich, ich könnte auf einem der
Treffen mal mit ihm reden. Auf den letzten Treffen, war er wohl nicht
anwesend, wenn ich die Anwesenheitslisten richtig gelesen habe.
Natürlich habe ich auch so Interesse an den Bielefelder PMs ;-)
Ich weiß noch nicht ob ich am 30.08. in Detmold bin, wenn Sebastian da
wäre, dann wäre das natürlich ein um so besserer Grund, naja mal sehen.

Sebastian ist bei den letzten Treffen nicht mehr erschienen, ausserdem dümpelt
auch oft in Bremen rum. Eigendlich ist er nur zum arbeiten in Bielefeld. Wenn
du dich mit ihm treffen willst, solltest du das evtl. in #catalyst oder
#perlde mit ihm besprechen, da ich den Eindruck habe, dass er hier auch nicht
mehr so aktiv mitliesst.

Das ist ja schon mal was. Ich bastle im moment übrigens auch mit Catalyst herum.

Aber latuernich lese ich hier noch mit!!! :)
Und ich scheine wirklich inzwischen in den beiden Channels zu
leben...werde aber versuchen beim naechsten mal wieder dabei zu sein.
Habt ihr wenigstens inzwischen ne Lokalitaet gefunden wo man Beck's
trinken kann (und mit wlan)? ;P

Ne, leider nicht. Wir haben uns wohl letztes mal eine andere Lokalität
angeschaut, aber die hatten die frechheit für WLAN 4,- die Stunde zu verlangen.
Das wahr mir dann zu blöd.
Becks scheints in Bielefeld nicht zu geben...

Meist verbleiben die bei dem, der sie zuletzt gelesen hat. Wir haben da kein
festes System. Aber wenn ich richtig liege, haben bei uns im moment auch nur
drei Leute Bücher. Das ist dann noch einigermassen überschaubar.

nachdem der Thread nun schon ein paar Tage alt ist melde ich mich auch
nochmal. Ich war bis jetzt mit Umzug und Büro zu sehr beschäftigt. :-(
Inzwischen steht aber fest, dass ich am 30.08.2005 hier bin und gerne
kommen würde.
Treffen ist im "Alt Bielefeld" oder wollt Ihr wieder durch die Stadt
ziehen, um nach WLANs zu suchen? Ich wollte nur vorab fragen, da ich
momentan mit dem Gehen eingeschränkt bin (Rückenmarkserkrankung) und es
vermutlich zu anstrengend für mich wäre durch halb Bielefeld zu humpeln.
Ansonsten könnte ich auch bei einem der nächsten Treffen erst kommen,
wenn Ihr eine neue Location habt.

Nein, ich glaube das Thema ist durch, wir treffen uns erstmal wieder im
Alt-Bielefeld (und bleiben dann auch da).

wenn du eine gute lokation mit wlan kennst, könnte man die in zukunft evtl.
noch mal antesten. wir haben nur die erfahrung gemacht, dass die
preisgestaltung von wlans anscheinend etwas unrealistisch vorgenommen wird.
ausserdem waren wir bis jetzt mit dem Alt Bielefeld ansonsten immer sehr
zufrieden.

ich schau mir im moment DBIx::Class an. auch wenn es noch nicht so richtig
fertig ist, könnte ich mal versuchen, die unterschiede zu Class::DBI
herauszuarbeiten. (wenn Sebastian da ist, währe er aber imho der kompetentere

Also um wirklich einen Vortrag darüber zu halten oder so reicht es noch
lange nicht... aber ein bischen was zeigen könnte ich vermutlich schon.
Mit AppleScript kann man halt viele Programme per Script dazu bringen, Dinge
zu tun. Und man kann Ordnern Skripte zuweisen. Zum Beispiel kann man einen
Ordner dazu bringen, sich automatisch auf CD zu brennen, wenn der Inhalt
größer als 600 MB wird oder solche Späße.
Man kann auch Skripte schreiben, die alle in den Ordner kopierten Dateien
automatisch per FTP auf den Webserver hochladen etc.
Erinnert etwas an Triggerevents aus Datenbanken.
Ok, ich nehm mir mal vor, dafür ein paar Infos zusammen zu suchen und Euch
was erzählen zu können.

nein, scherz beiseite. die ursprüngliche idee hinter den Perlmongers ist ja
nicht die, eines elitären haufens von fachidioten. wenn deine frau sich für
Perl interessiert, sehe ich keinen grund, warum sie nicht mitkommen sollte.
allerdings geht es bei den Perlmongers nun mal auch um Perl. auch wenn wir
viel off topic reden und nicht ausschliesslich technische gespräche führen,
würde ich zumindest ein interesse für Perl in speziellen und computer im
allgemeinen voraussetzen. das bedeutet nicht, dass ich irgend jemanden etwas
verbieten möchte, könnte ich auch gar nicht, währe nur die frage, ob das dann
noch sinn macht.
aber ich bin nur einer von (nicht ganz so) vielen. wie sehen die anderen das?

Also bei den Treffen von Paderborn.pm in "meinem" Wohnzimmer
ist meine Frau bislang immer geflüchtet während des technischen Teils,
und der gesellige Teil mit Futtern gehen und so war dann auch immer
recht computerlastig geprägt.
Das soll natürlich kein "Argument" gegen fachfremde Teilnehmer sein,
aber eine Warnung für die Gäste, die (evtl nocht nicht) wissen, auf was sie
sich da einlassen.
(meine Frau kennt das, die Frage an mich lautet dann immer "spielt ihr

Lösungsansatz:

Brute Force ;) wenn man alle möglchen Lösungen durchspielt, landet man imho
bei Lösung 3. Davon ausgehend, dass sie 40 und er 30 ist, ist die hälfte der
Summe ihrer beiden jetzigen Alter (40+30)/2 = 35. Als sie 35 war, müsste er 10
Jahre jünger also 25 gewesen sein. Das doppelte von 25 ist 50. Wenn Sie 50
ist, wird er 40 sein, was ihrem jetzigen Alter entspricht.
Auch wenn man im Prinzip nur zwei Lösungen durchspielen muss, da aus dem
ersten Teilsatz schon hervorgeht, dass die Schwester älter sein muss als ihr
Bruder, finde ich Bruteforce-Lösungen doch irgendwie unbefriedigend. Meine
Versuche den Text in Gleichungen zu giessen und diese dann so umzustellen,
dass sich das irgendwie lösen lässt, haben aber nicht gefruchtet.

Variablen:
S sei das aktuelle Alter der Schwester
B sei das aktuelle Alter des Bruders.
delta1 sei t3-t2 (eine positive Zahl)
delta2 sei t2-t1 (eine positive Zahl)
Wir wissen:
(1) S = B + delta1
(2) S + delta1 = 2 * (B - delta2)
(3) S - delta2 = (B + S) / 2
(4) S > B folgt aus dem ersten Teilsatz
(5) S > (S+B)/2 denn delta2 > 0
Umformungen:
(3) S - delta2 = (B + S) / 2
<=> S - delta2 = (B + S - 2*delta2) / 2
<=> 2*S - 2*delta2 = B + S
<=> S - 2*delta2 = B
<=> (3') S = B + 2*delta2
Aus (1) und (3') folgt:
(6) delta1 = 2*delta2
Damit ergibt sich:
(1") S = B + delta1
(2") S + delta1 = 2 * (B - delta1/2)
(3") 2*S - delta1 = B + S
(3") und (1") sind leider gleichbedeutend. Setzt man für S in (2") B+delta1
ein, so ergibt sich:

Ich hoffe, das ist 1) richtig und 2) verständlich.
Es kann auch viel kürzere Lösungen geben, aber danach hab ich nicht mehr
gesucht.

Sachen die ich nicht verstanden habe, vermute ich einen Fehler auf deiner
Seite ;-)

Ich glaube hier meinst du den Zeitpunkt, wenn die Schwester doppelt so alt
sein wird, wie der Bruder war, als... Das würde auch mit der Formel S + delta1
= 2 * (B - delta2) passen.
Zum anderen verstehe ich einen Schritt bei der Umformung von (3) nicht. Ich
habe die Schritte mal nummeriert:
1. S - delta2 = (B + S) / 2
2. S - delta2 = (B + S - 2*delta2) / 2
3. 2*S - 2*delta2 = B + S
4. S - 2*delta2 = B
5. S = B + 2*delta2
Ich habe keine Ahnung wie du von 1. nach 2. kommst. Ausserdem kann man mit |*2
imho von 1. direkt nach 3. kommen.
Im wesendlichen kommst du aber zu dem selben Ergebniss wie Judith gestern, nur
etwas ausführlicher, wodurch ich das gut nachvollziehen konnte. Danke noch mal
euch beiden.

der Schritt 2 ist Müll, hatte zuerst nicht gelesen, dass in Formel 3 auf das
aktuelle Alter zugegriffen wird. Die Zeile 2 kann komplett entfallen, wie Du
schon sagtest.
