Well we had no speaker which kind of killed the talk part. Later we
discovered we had two speakers. It would have been nice to know that a
lot earlier. Maybe even what they were talking about, but just that they
were talking would have been nice.

True, on the basis that we had a talk which we were then told was
cancelled. Also, the week before doesn't strike me as well in advance :)
