I normally get it to ask me before fetching dependent modules, so I was a bit miffed when it said Running make for G/GS/GSAR/perl-5.6.0.tar.gz So in fit of pique I typed cpan> install perl and got back Warning: Cannot install perl, don't know what it is. (which is to be expected I suppose). I suppose that cpan upgrading my perl to 5.6.0 could be called an "agressive" upgrade policy. Should it do this?
