I have the following input to make this active group. All the bangalore perl mongers should meet atleast once a month it would be ideal to meet on every first saturday of the month for 2 hours say 5 - 7 in evening and probably give a presentation on perl related things , this would increase the networking among the perl mongers. I can be one of the volunteer , organizer for this but i alone cant do all this probably i need 2 or 3 more guys who can help me in this. If any one have any inputs or any thoughts on this i would be glad to hear them , if any one want to talk to me or meet me in person please give me a call on my mobile , 9900859469 Thank You, -srini On 8/10/07, Raghavendra Rao wrote: > > Though I am receiving the mails on Bangalore-pm.. It was originally written in haskell by Audrey Tang (from Taiwan). Pugs is now also completely rewritten in perl6 itself. Pugs is a great toy to experiment perl6 with. This talk will be delivered by Mr.Isaac Praveen. Isaac Praveen is a hacker at DeepRoot Linux. He is a Perl/Catalyst Developer. Also work on DBIx::Class (an ORM in perl). Have been advocating and using perl6 as the post-modern language. Also a religious emacs user :) Contents of the talk : * Junctions * functional programming * macros * perl 6 syntactic sugars * demo on using and hacking pugs * demon on using perl with emacs!
