    ?    Ability to understand legacy code to identify and fix problems
    ?    Strong verbal and written communication skills
    ?    3-5 years experience with Perl or equivalent language
    ?    1-3 years experience with C/C++
    ?    Demonstrable proficiency in Linux system administration
    ?    Demonstrable proficiency with Linux shell scripting languages
    ?    Solid understanding of networking protocols for
routing/switching, IP, TCP/UDP, and application layers such as HTTP,
SMTP, etc
    ?    Experience with Ethernet packet based analysis

Desired knowledge, skills and abilities:
    ?    Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases
    ?    Reverse engineering experience is a strong plus
    ?    Experience investigating core files using GNU debugger
    ?    Knowledge of network security concepts
    ?    Experience with network security tools such as Snort, nmap,
nessus, ethereal, tcpdump, and tcpreplay

Hello,

We're having a social meetup for Perl users (family/friends welcome)
on our usual meeting night:

Thursday, October 18th from 6:30p - 8:30p

It's going to be at the Patterson Bowling Center on 2105 Eastern Avenue.

It will cost $20.00 per person (shoes included!) for 2 hours of 2
reserved lanes. I've already made the reservation. Two lanes can hold
up to 10 people, so if we are going to have more people I need to know
ASAP to reserve another lane.

It's a BYOB and food establishment, so I'll bring the pizza - you
bring the beer :)

If you plan to attend please let me know so I can adjust our
reservation as necessary.
