If no one from DC can help you out - you can take the MARC train out of Union station (Camden Line) and I can pick you up at one of the nearby stations and give you a ride the rest of the way.  Unfortunately, the return home will need to be by Metro since the last train back on the MARC is 6:10PM.  This doesn't sound very desirable if it were me but I would be willing to try and get you if you want.

This works for me.  Though, I don't own a car.  Is anybody from DC 
taking rides or know of a good alternative form of transportation?
