[Australia-pm] [Sydney-pm] Sydney August Meeting!

Australian Perl Mongers australia-pm at pm.org
Wed Jul 30 18:59:26 PDT 2025

I will be in Sydney that week and am keen to join!
These talks sound great to me Stuart.
On the topic of evangelism, I do not get to play with Perl too much these
days (the odd script when I need to do something quickly, but no full
system programming) but am trying to change that and get my head back in
the game.
My colleague that I'm sure a bunch of you know, Graham Ollis aka plicease
<https://github.com/plicease> at Fastly has done a bunch of WASM stuff with
Perl <https://github.com/perlwasm>, and I firmly believe that getting perl
working on a WASM platform would do Good.Things(TM) for making Perl a front
of mind choice for more projects. It's just such a wonderful language <3
