Thanks, Mike. The problem with the posted messages being hung up was MailMan failing to restart. 
Mike T., the friendly voluteer at the perl.org, got it fixed in a hurry after I alerted him to 
the problem.

For you others on the list, allow me to reintroduce Mike Arms. At one meeting Mike gave a demo 
on the command-line Perl debugger in 1999 or 2000. I regard him as our local expert in modules, 
debugging, and TK, plus others I've forgotten.
