Fellow Perlmongers,

Thanks to a generous offer of venue accommodations by Bloomberg, L.P., 
we are pleased to announce the second New York City Perl Hackathon, to 
be held Saturday, May 02 2015 at Bloomberg offices in Manhattan.  This 
is a one-day event and is open to Perl hackers of all levels.

Signing up for this event has three parts.

1. For building access, use the New York Perlmongers Meetup.com page to 
sign up for this event and learn the venue access rules:

2. Learn how to get ready for the hackathon:

3.  Use the Hackathon wiki to submit a project to be worked on at the 
hackathon or sign up to work on a project which someone else has suggested:

... in the "Tracks" section of your submission.

Do you think there would be any interest in a Perl 6 track? I'm sure
we could pick some LHF for people to hack on.

Most definitely.  We haven't had any presentations about Perl 6 in NYC 
in ... a long time.  Other than what I've heard at YAPCs and about 
Larry's presentation at FOSDEM, I myself have been out of the P6 loop as 
well.  I think having a P6 track at our hackathon would be very welcome. 
  Please make use of the Tracks and Projects pages on the wiki for that 
purpose.
