Hi, I'm starting a new developer group in the Capital District. Here
are the details.

The Capital District Flex Developers Network is a organization, located
in New York's Capital District (Albany area)dedicated to bringing
together developers interested in Flex, AIR and other Rich Internet
Application (RIA) technologies.

It is intended to be a place where developers can learn, network and
socialize.

While our focus is on Adobe's Flex and AIR, we will also look at other
RIA technologies such as AJAX, Silverlight, JavaFX and OpenLaazlo

The Capital District Flex Developers Network holds monthly meetings,
usually on the 1st Wednesday of each month, which are free and open to
the public. These meetings feature presentations on Flex, AIR, and
other RIA technologies, as well as a chance to network and socialize
with other developers. Food and drink are provided courtesy of our
sponsors.

Our first meeting (details below) will be on Wed Sept 5, at the Callaway
Grill on Albany Shaker Road in Loudonville, and we will generally meet
there on the 1st Wednesday of each month.

Visit our website at http://RIAction.com for more information and to
sign up
