Perl Mongers meeting

Well it's a little late, but I think it's time now that we Perl Mongers
meet to celebrate the year 2000. Of course we geeks all know that the new
millenium doesn't really begin until Jan 1, 2001.

I'm asking you all to congregate Thursday, Feb 10, 6:30 pm (note the
later time) at the Albany Pump Station, 19 Quackenbush Square in Albany
This is listed in the phone book as C.H.Evans Brewing Co. and their
phone number is 447-9000.

To get to it, take I-787 to the Clinton Avenue exit in Albany. Take a right
(North) onto Broadway. Within a block or two you'll come to Spenser. Take
a right here and Quackenbush Square is half a block down at the end of
Spenser.

I'll bring my laptop as usual and maybe we'll talk a little about POE,
the Perl Object Environment. This is an excellent tool for building
servers.
