The Pittsburgh Perl Workshop is a really nice little two-day event.  Lots of
good technical content, but even better, lots of time to meet/socialize with
other geeks with good ideas.  I've enjoyed going the last 3 years and will be
going again this year.

It's super-cheap -- I think it's been $50 the past years -- and this year is in
the swanky new [Bill] Gates Center at CMU.
