[za-pm] Is there a 'Perl Day'?

Hi,

I have just put on my 'Paradox Day' tee shirt and it set me wondering,
is there a 'Perl Day'. (actually it is so long it is more like a Perl
dress!)

The tee shirt has a small script on the back to calculate a random day
each year. I remember there was a competition for the best script. We
opened up an IRC channel for the day and had a chat with all those
people who we 'know' by email, and got to know one another somewhat
better. The Paradox community is of course small now (do you even
remember Paradox?) but with the large Perl community something like
this could be more successful and provide good promotion. Maybe this is
really something for Perlmonks?

Any ideas? Just a suggestion.
