Participation of non-attendees

in general, they are welcome to all social events. there should be a way 
to buy a ticket for the banquet/game night. the movie night at the alamo 
is of course open to them as well but again, a ticket (via crowdtilt) 
needs to be bought. there has been some organized stuff in past yapc's 
for family and friends who are not attending. i haven't noticed anything 
this year.
