Austin AC avg thermostat settings?

Low-to-mid 70's (21 C) is typical for most offices here, but some err on the side of "too cool" IMO, and tend to be warm natured (in body at least!).

Humidity in Austin generally isn't terrible (nothing like Houston), but if you're from the Left Coast as I am originally, then any humidity above 40% may seem like a lot. Typically, the humidity this time of year will be between 45% to as high as 85% (yikes!). When thunderstorms roll through, you'll definitely notice the humidity then.

The advice I've seen repeated here sounds good - bring something light to put on should you be in an overly-cold room. I have a team mate that always has a sweatshirt or pull-over at the office even when it's in the 90's (32 C) outside.

For those visiting Austin for the first time, I really hope your visit is a pleasant one. Austin is my adopted home of 15 years now, and I love it.
