Making [user:nickname] work on the wiki

Hi,

I noticed that a lot of people have [user:nickname] tags in places that are
just rendering as literal text (i.e. not a link to the user). Others have
[user:\d{4}] (their user id, I'm guessing).

I got [user:nickname] to work by setting a nickname in my profile.

Go to Conference->Account and Signup

Find the "edit profile" link there.

Set the "nickname" field [might be nice if that defaulted to login, btw, if
anyone who writes this software is listening] to whatever you want your
nickname to be, and save.

Then [user:nickname] should work (with your nickname in place of the string
'nickname', I mean).
